The Maestro non-profit association was founded in November 2002 in recognition of the importance of music and musicians as factors in the quality of the cultural spirit, education, and society in Israel.

Why music?

• Music is one of the seven identified intelligences.
• It develops both hemispheres of the brain.
• Instruction is individual and personalized.
• Music is a means of communication, bridging between differences in language, culture, religion, and nationality.
• Music is an enabling force for those who deal with it, improving their self-discipline, concentration, command of principles and

their application, interpersonal communication, self-expression, imagination, satisfaction, and enjoyment.
